Why Amazon cancelled Moto G turbo discounted orders? |Inside Story

Guys, on March 27, 2016 many of you might have ordered the Moto G turbo White colour variant which is generally sold for Rs.12,499 but on that day it was available for just Rs. 4,999 using the discount code GYJQJ3YW. So you were getting a bumper discount of Rs. 7500.

But sooner we all were disappointed that Amazon.in cancelled all our orders. But do you know some people have already received their Moto G Turbo For the discounted price. But the question arises why? Why did Amazon react in a biased way and discriminated among its buyers. So, lets get to what we think might be the real story.But before that lets see what Amazon has to say on all this:-

But we feel the real story would have been different so here is what we feel might have been the reason and why some people received their packages for Rs.4999 :-

In our opinion it was a code offered to someone in private who made it public and everyone just shared it. A very few people opted for One Day delivery, and also received the devices the next day before Amazon could stop it since they have a semi-automation process and have inventory at their warehouse that gets shipped once there's an order confirmation. For others who selected normal shipping, the orders got cancelled because by that time Amazon realized the issue and ensured that they don't loose more money. Ultimately it was their mistake of issuing a code that had multiple orders access because of which they had to go through a lot of negative media publicity too. 

So we feel by now you would have got why this all happened. After all it was a huge mistake by Amazon. If you would have chosen faster delivery options at checkout, chances are that you would also have been among those lucky people who got the chance to enjoy this great deal.
